Biography
Wayne Solomon is an assistant professor of Business in the Business Department specializing in Accounting. Before his appointment at Redeemer, he was a sessional business instructor at the University College of the North where he taught finance and public policy, and at the University of New Brunswick where he taught finance. Professor Solomon has worked in both the private and public sector, working in a variety of industries including construction, not-for-profit, municipal government, and with First Nation and Inuit organizations. As a consultant and as a Chief Financial Officer, he has provided expertise on a variety of topics including information technology, accounting, efficiency, governance and reporting. He has served on several boards, especially for government economic development corporations. He seeks to connect academic work with practical challenges.
