Ronald L. Parratt

Biography

 Ron was a co-founder and the President and Chief Executive Officer of AuEx Ventures, Inc. a Nevada- based junior gold/silver exploration company from 2003 until it was acquired by Fronteer Gold Inc. in late 2010 which led to the creation of RenGold as a "spin-out" of AuEx. Ron has over 35 years of exploration experience including service with Santa Fe Pacific Gold and Homestake Mining. He was directly involved in the discovery and development of the Rabbit Creek, Lone Tree, Trenton Canyon and Long Canyon gold deposits in Nevada totaling over 15 million ounces of gold. Ron is a Certified Professional Geologist (CPG) with the American Institute of Professional Geologists (since 1989), a Registered Geologist in California (since 1976) and a Professional Geologist in Wyoming (since 1998). He is a graduate of Purdue University with degrees in geochemistry and economic geology. He is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists, a member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration, a member and Vice President of the American Exploration and Mining Association, a member and Director of the Nevada Mineral Exploration Coalition and the member of the Geological Society of Nevada. Ron served on the State of Nevada Commission on Mineral Resources from 1991 until 2011.
