Biography
Mr. J. Christopher Reyes, also known as Chris, co-founded Reyes Holdings, LLC in 1976 and has been its Co-Chairman since January 1998. Mr. Reyes serves as a Consultant and Member of Advisory Board at RoundTable Healthcare Management, LLC. He manages businesses in food and beverage distribution, transportation management and logistics, equipment leasing and real estate activities since 1976. Mr. Reyes serves as the Chairman of the Board of Rosemont Ill and Director of Dean Holding Co. and Member of Board of Investors of Merrick Ventures, LLC. He serves as a Director of Reyes Holdings LLC. Mr. Reyes has been Director of Allstate Corp. since February 2002 and Dean Foods Company since 1999. He is a Member of Board of Directors and Trustees at Lake Forest Academy. He serves as Chairman of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Mr. Reyes is the Chairman of Children's Memorial Medical Center. He served as Vice Chairman of Corporate Board of Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago. He serves on the Board of Directors of Children's Memorial Hospital, Northwestern Memorial Foundation, Museum of Science and Industry, Lyric Opera of Chicago, International Council of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, World Business Chicago and El Valor. Mr. Reyes is a Member of Executive Advisory Board of The Edgewater Funds. He serves on the Board of Directors of Ronald McDonald House Charities. Additionally, Mr. Reyes is on the Boards of the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago, the Economic Club of Chicago and the Chicago Club. He serves as a Director of After School Matters, Inc. Mr. Reyes serves as a Director of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, United Way of Metropolitan Chicago, Big Shoulders Fund and Ronald McDonald House Charities. He serves as a Trustee at University of Notre Dame. Mr. Reyes served as an Independent Director of Tribune Co. from March 15, 2005 to July 18, 2007 and Fortune Brands Inc. since 2002. He also served as a Director of Wintrust Financial Corp. from 1996 to May 24, 2007 and its Subsidiary Lake Forest Bank. He served as Director of General Dynamics Corporation from December 5, 2007 to May 5 2010. He served as a Member of Board of Governors at Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Mr. Reyes served as Vice Chairman of MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital. He served as Independent Director of Beam, Inc. He holds a B.S. from the University of Maryland.
