Biography

Mr. Bradley Paul L. Martin, also known as Brad, has been Vice President of Strategic Investments of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited since August 2012. Mr. Martin served as Chief Operating Officer from November 2006 to 2012, Corporate Secretary from September 2002 to 2012 and Vice President since June 1998 at Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. His career includes 11 years with the Canadian Law Firm Torys LLP, including one year on secondment to the Ontario Securities Commission followed by a partnership at Torys LLP in 1995. He was a Partner at Torys LLP in Toronto, Ontario since 1995. He serves as Chairman of Resolute FP Canada Inc. He has been the Non-Executive Chairman of Resolute Forest Products Inc. (also known as AbitibiBowater Inc.) since May 16, 2013. He has been the Chairman of Ridley Inc. since November 2008. He served as the Chairman of Imvescor Restaurant Group Inc. from March 9, 2012 to June, 2013. He has been a Director at Ridley Inc. since November 2008; Resolute Forest Products Inc since May 2012 and The Brick Ltd since May 24, 2012. He has been a Non-Independent Director of Northbridge Financial Corp. since April 16, 2007. He serves as a Director of Resolute FP Canada Inc. He served as a Director of Imvescor Restaurant Group Inc. from December 14, 2011 to April 2013 and a Non Executive Director at BOI (IOM) Limited since July 23, 2013. He served as a Non-Executive Director at The Governor and Company of the Bank of Ireland since July 23, 2013 until April 28, 2017. He served as Director of Hub Group Limited and Zenith National Insurance Corp. He served as Director of Hub International Limited from May 2002 to June 13, 2007; Odyssey Re Holdings Corp. since April 25, 2007 and Crum & Forster Holdings Corp. since March 30, 2007. He holds a Law Degree from the University of Toronto Law School and a BA from Harvard University.
