Biography
Erol Uzumeri has served as our Chairman since October 2017. Mr. Uzumeri is a Founding Partner of Searchlight Capital Partners, L.P., and is jointly responsible for overseeing the firm’s activities with the two other Founding Partners. Mr. Uzumeri has served on our Board since December 2015. Mr. Uzumeri is currently Chairman of the board of M&M Food Market. Prior to co-founding Searchlight in 2010, Mr. Uzumeri was the head of Private Equity for the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Mr. Uzumeri serves on the board of the Sick Kids Hospital Foundation. Mr. Uzumeri graduated from the University of Toronto, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Industrial Engineering and received a Master of Science degree in Finance from the London Business School.
