Joseph F. Damico

Biography

Mr. Joseph F. Damico, also known as Joe, has been the Founding Partner of RoundTable Healthcare Management, LLC since February 2001 and has been its Co-Chairman since July 2010. Mr. Damico is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction and management of RoundTable. He plays an integral part in its transaction process, including evaluating potential portfolio companies in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Damico is a Founding Partner and Operating Partner of RoundTable Healthcare Partners II, L.P. Mr. Damico has more than 35 years of strategic, operational and senior management experience leading multi-billion-dollar diversified healthcare companies. He was the Operating Partner of RoundTable Healthcare Management, LLC from February 2001 to July 2010. Mr. Damico served as an Executive Vice President of Cardinal Health, Inc. from February 1999 to December 2000. He was responsible for managing 16 individual businesses with revenue ranging from $30 to $500 million, 20,000 employees, 29 manufacturing facilities in eight countries and 48 distribution centers. Mr. Damico also made the business achieve 23 percent compound annual growth rate in operating income and completed 18 tuck under or line extension acquisitions during his tenure. Mr. Damico served as the Group President of Allegiance Corporation from February 1999 to December 2000 and served as its President and Chief Operating Officer from September 1996 to February 1999. Mr. Damico assumed this position after spin-off from Baxter in 1996. From 1992 to September 1996, he served as a Corporate Vice President of Baxter International Inc. He held various senior management positions at Baxter International Inc., from 1985 to 1996. From 1985 to 1992, Mr. Damico held various executive positions at Baxter Healthcare Corporation from 1979 to 1985. He had been with American Hospital Supply Corporation at senior management positions. He has been the Chairman of TIDI Products, LLC since July 2015. He serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of ACI Medical Devices, Santa Cruz Nutritionals, Argon Medical Devices, Inc., Aspen Surgical Products, Inc., Vesta Inc., Avalign Technologies, Inc. and Beaver-Visitec International. He served as the Chairman of American Medical Instruments Holdings, Inc. and Vanguard Medical Concepts, Inc. Mr. Damico served as the Non-Executive Chairman of Ascent Healthcare Solutions, AMIH and MedAssist. He serves on the Boards of other RoundTable portfolio companies. He serves as a Director of Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Libertyville Bank & Trust Company. Mr. Damico serves as a Director of Sabex and Xillix Technologies Corporation. He serves as a Director of Safe Life Corp. He serves as a Director of Lake Forest Hospital and College of Lake County Foundation. He has been a Director of HCR ManorCare, Inc. (Alternate Name: Manor Care Inc.) since February 2003. Mr. Damico served as an Independent Director of Wintrust Financial Corporation since February 01, 2005 until May 25, 2017. He served as a Director of Allegiance Corporation since 1996. Mr. Damico holds an M.B.A. in 1977 and a B.A. in Management and Marketing in 1976 from James Madison University.
