Biography
Damoon's career started when he joined Sarvin Saze Consulting Engineers. During this period, he performed structural analysis and design of mid-rise to high-rise steel and concrete structures with various types of framing systems. Later, he moved to Canada and started civil-structural engineering PhD program and followed his interest in advance numerical modeling and design of structures and became familiar with designing the structures in Canada. During his PhD, he joined Tetra Tech EBA in Vancouver and worked in the consulting environment with the focus on steel and concrete design of industrial projects. Damoon has joined S Sura and associates and engaged in designing new and retrofitting existing timber and masonry residential and commercial buildings.
