Biography
Ian Parsons is currently the General Counsel & Compliance Leader for the General Electric Company Healthcare division .He is responsible for all aspects of the legal function and operations. In his compliance role, his domain covers compliance with law and policy, including anti-corruption policies and initiatives. He also works closely with the regulatory compliance team, and has a role in working with government, key policy makers and the research community to facilitate the expansion of GE Healthcare’s products and services in the healthcare sector. He has also held the role of Lead Ombudsperson for the GE businesses in Australia & New Zealand from 2009-2012. He has also been a member of the Steering Committee of the GE Volunteers organization, and is currently the leader of GE Volunteers for New South Wales.
