Biography
Mr. Forster conducts occupational hygiene exposure assessments and provides exposure control advice for our pharmaceutical clients. He specialises in conducting surrogate containment performance assessments for clients and equipment vendors. Mr. Forster holds degrees in Biological Sciences and Environmental and Occupational Health from Salford and Middlesex Universities, respectively. He is also a certified Licentiate grade faculty member of the British Occupational Hygiene Society; the chartered society for worker health protection. Mr. Forster’s previous experience included arranging and leading site EH&S qualitative assessments within a diverse array of environments that provide aviation support to Royal Air Force aircraft on military bases in the UK. Leading base occupational hygiene exposure monitoring programs and assessments; welding, paint spray, wood/ metal workshops, various adhesive applications, military transport and battery charging environments subsequently became a primary focus for his development. He engaged in personal exposure monitoring for hazardous substances, LEV testing, noise monitoring, heat stress assessments, thermal comfort assessments and lighting surveys. His experience has taken him to more austere oversees environments, including Afghanistan, where his work has been to ensure the minimisation of communicable disease spread and realisation of other non-battle injuries among UK and other allied forces. Here his experience extended towards ensuring safe water provision, food hygiene inspections and pest control, communicable disease outbreak and cross-contamination investigations.
