Biography
Upon receiving his DMD from the College of Dentistry, University of Saskatchewan in 1981,Dr. Heinrichs entered full time private practice beginning in Estevan, SK. He moved in 1984 to Swift Current, SK. where he practiced until 2000 when I moved to Medicine Hat, AB. In 2011, he undertook a part time position back at the College of Dentistry, University of Saskatchewan as an assistant professor, with a focus on clinical instruction while practicing part-time at his former dental practice in Swift Current. He has been a full-time assistant professor at the College of Dentistry, University of Saskatchewan since 2013.
Research Interest
Related professional activities include serving as a supervising instructor for dental students from the College of Dentistry, University of Saskatchewan during their extern program at the Fond du Lac First Nation in 1988 as well as serving as the Interim Clinical Director at SIAST’s Dental Hygiene and Dental Assistant Program, Regina Campus, in 1991.
