Biography
Dr. Teekasingh is a 1996 graduate of the College of Dentistry, University of Saskatchewan. Upon graduation he completed his dental residency at Royal University Hospital (RUH) in 1997. Shortly thereafter he was appointed on staff at the Department of Dentistry at RUH and continues to be an active member in the department. He was on faculty at the College of Dentistry from 1997 to 2003 and continues to contribute to dental education as a guest lecturer in various disciplines. He maintains his practice through RUH where he serves as program and clinic director of the General Practice Dental Residency program
Research Interest
Dr. Teekasingh has served on numerous committees for the CDSS, CDA and CDAC . He is also one of the founding members of the Canadian Association of Hospital Dentists. The dental program at RUH is unique in that it provides 24/7 on call services as well as dental treatment for medically complex patients including head and neck oncology and stem cell transplant patients.
