Biography
Mr. David C. Aldous has been the Chief Executive Officer of Rive Technology, Inc. since March 9, 2012. Mr. Aldous served as the Chief Executive Officer of Range Fuels, Inc. since November 11, 2008. He served as Senior Vice President of Oil Products of Shell Canada Ltd., since October 1, 2006. He more than 30 years of corporate leadership experience in the energy, alternative energy, chemical, oil and petrochemical industries. He started his career as a process engineer and project manager at Fluor Engineers and Constructors. He spent more than 20 years with Royal Dutch Shell. He served as an Executive Vice President of Strategy and Portfolio for Royal Dutch Shell in London, where he was responsible for strategy, mergers, acquisitions, divestments, consulting, global systems, health, safety, security, environmental and technology for Shell's downstream business. He served as the President of Shell Canada Products and was responsible for leading retailers, refineries, lubricants, aviation, commercial fuels, supply, distribution, pipelines and brand management. In 1984, Mr. Aldous joined Shell Chemical Company in Chicago, where he worked in sales and on various commercial assignments. He joined Shell Canada from Shell Expatriate Employment US Inc. Since 1991, he moved through increasingly responsible leadership roles in business management, market development and strategy for Shell's additives, global detergents and olefins businesses. In 2000, he became President and Chief Executive Officer of CRI/Criterion, Inc. and Chairman of Zeolyst International, which are affiliated with the Shell group of companies. He serves as a Director of Rive Technology, Inc. He has been an Independent Director of Dynamic Materials Corp. since July 1, 2013. He serves as a Director of Rive Technology. He served as a Director of Lanzatech NZ Ltd. Mr. Aldous graduated with a BSc and MS in Fuels Engineering from the University of Utah and later received his MBA degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
