Serge Côtes

Biography

 Serge Côtes joined the Fonds régionaux from 2000 to 2004 to help set up an investment strategy for public mining companies. Since his return in 2013, he exclusively handles investments in the mining exploration sector for the Nord-Ouest-du-Québec region. From 2011 to 2013, he was CFO of the junior mining exploration company Pershimco Resources, where he concluded major financing agreements and helped manage Pershimco’s largest exploration project situated in Panama. Before that, Mr. Côtes worked at Deloitte, where he honed his mining taxation skills, and at National Bank Financial. He holds a graduate degree in business administration from Université Laval and is a member of the province’s order of chartered professional accountants, the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec.
