Biography
Cristian Scurtescu has over 10 years’ experience developing therapeutic ultrasound devices and microelectronic products. He has been closely involved in ultrasonic dental technology development at the University of Alberta, liaising between the orthodontic and electrical engineering teams on the technology’s design, testing, and biological validation. Cristian’s passion to commercialize and distribute this technology to orthodontists and patients led him to launch SmileSonica in 2008.
