Neil A. Bruce Obe

Biography

Mr. Neil A. Bruce, OBE, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. since October 5, 2015. Mr. Bruce has been the Chief Operating Officer of SNC-Lavalin Inc. since April 30, 2015. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. from April 15, 2015 to October 5, 2015. Mr. Bruce served as Senior Executive Vice-President and Group President of Resources, Environment & Water at SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. from January 21, 2013 to April 15, 2015 and served as its member of the Office of the President since January 21, 2013. Mr. Bruce served as the Chief Operating Officer of AMEC plc (now Amec Foster Wheeler plc ) from August 2010 to October 5, 2012. He has 30 years' experience in oil and gas and natural resources. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of AMEC Zektin Group Pty Ltd. He served as Managing Director at AMEC Offshore Services Limited. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Natural resources division of AMEC Nuclear UK Limited (formerly AMEC NNC Limited) since April 2006. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Natural Resources at Amec Foster Wheeler plc since 2006 and also its Chief Operating Officer of Power & Process since December 2009 and also served as its Chief Operating Officer of Earth & Environmental Division. He served as Managing Director of AMEC Oil & Gas. Prior to being at AMEC, he was at Atlantic Richfield, where Mr. Bruce held various positions, latterly as Head of Greenfield and Brownfield projects. He also serves as a trustee of the charity Engineers Against Poverty. Since March 2009, he has been Chairman of the UK Oil & Gas advisory board of UK Trade & Investment and in September 2011 was invited to join the UK Government’s new Trade and Economic Growth Board for Scotland. He has been a Director of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. since October 5, 2015. He served as an Independent Non Executive Director at Air Energi Group Limited since January 2013. He served as an Executive Director of Amec Foster Wheeler plc from January 2009 to October 5, 2012. Mr. Bruce serves as a Member of the International Oil and Gas Business Advisory Board and is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, where he won an award for developing young people. He was awarded the Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) by The Queen in Her Majesty’s New Year’s. He serves as Honorary Professor at Aberdeen Business School at The Robert Gordon University, where he was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Business Administration. A Chartered Engineer, he has a Masters Degree from Newcastle University.
