Biography
As Vice President of Legal and General Counsel, Mr. Syed leads Softchoice’s legal team and oversees all Canadian and U.S. legal functions of the company. Mr. Syed provides legal advice and guidance to Softchoice on all aspects of its business activities and oversees the company’s governance and compliance processes and policies. Prior to joining Softchoice in 2015, Mr. Syed was a partner at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP where he spent 10 years practicing corporate and securities law with a focus on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Mr. Syed holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor.
