Vince De Palma

Biography

As President and Chief Executive Officer, Vince De Palma is responsible for the implementation of Softchoice’s strategic plan, as well as the growth and success of Softchoice people and the business as a whole. He joined Softchoice in February 2017. Mr. De Palma’s career spans more than 30 years of executive leadership experience. Prior to joining Softchoice, he served as President and CEO of Shred-it, an international information destruction company. Under his leadership, Shred-it became a globally-recognized information security brand, operating in over 200 service centers in 18 countries worldwide and serving over 400,000 businesses and organizations. In his past role as President of Pitney Bowes Management Services (PBMS), Mr. De Palma successfully drove the transformation of the organization into a leading provider of higher-value, technology-enabled solutions and services. Prior to Pitney Bowes, Mr. De Palma served as President of Benefit Services, as well as a Corporate Officer, at Automated Data Processing (ADP). While there, he led the turnaround of several underperforming businesses, increased annual revenue and customer retention, and improved employee retention. Mr. De Palma also held senior positions with the Petroleum Heat and Power Company (of Stamford, CT) and McKinsey & Company, where he led consulting projects for Fortune 500 companies in the industrial sector. Vince received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College, and his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
