Biography
Eric C. Nielsen is the executive vice president responsible for US federal, learning and leadership development and the community development business line. Eric joined Stantec with the acquisition of The Keith Companies (TKC) in 2005. As the past president and chief operating officer of TKC, Eric played a key role in the firm's growth from a small privately held engineering firm to a strong publicly traded company. With a strong focus on collaborative and innovative approaches, Eric led a group that focused on commercial, retail, and office projects that he built into one of the largest service groups in Orange County. With a career spanning more than thirty years, Eric has provided design and management services on residential, commercial, industrial, and public sector projects located in and around southern California, Hawaii, and Colorado. In addition, he has continually increased his management and executive responsibilities. Eric’s commitment to his professional community includes participating with Cal Poly's Industry Advisory Board for their civil engineering department Eric is a Registered Professional Engineer in California and Hawaii.
