John Krug

Biography

 John specializes in the planning, development, and design of municipal water supply and distribution systems. He focuses on finding out what his clients want, and then uses the vast resources available within Stantec to deliver these projects, while achieving a solid reputation for hard work, honesty, integrity and team work. John is the managing principal for the Ottawa water group, the Ottawa office lead and Stantec’s client manager for the City of Ottawa. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Consulting Engineers of Ontario. John has overseen a large number of water planning studies and water infrastructure design projects through his career, most notably Ottawa’s 2013 Water Master Plan, the Orleans Watermain Link, the Village of Richmond Master Servicing Study, and Ottawa’s Water Supply Vulnerability Assessment. John is also a strong supporter of tap water and worked with a local group to help eliminate bottled water from local municipal offices.
