Biography
Mr. Coleman brings a variety of experience to the STEM Group having worked for both large and small consulting firms over his thirty-six years as an Engineer. Mark moved to Sault Ste. Marie in 1977 to work in the local office of a multi-national engineering consortium, eventually managing the office. Subsequently, he co-founded the firm of STEM with two partners. His work has focused on the heavy industrial sector, but also includes municipal, commercial, and institutional. Projects Mark has been involved in include the design and construction of the $500 million No. 2 Tube Mill at Algoma Steel (now Algoma Tubes), 35 Ton Crane Runway redesign in the Cold Mill at Algoma Steel, and a seven storey Health Science Centre for the University of Alberta.
