Biography
Laurel Edwards is responsible for the overall direction and management of Strategic Group’s leasing department. Laurel has over 13 years of experience in the real estate industry and was most recently, the Managing Director of the Valuation and Advisory Services division of an international brokerage company. There, she focused on the management of a team of appraisers and completed appraisals on major real estate assets in office, retail and industrial. She has also served on several volunteer industry boards including NAIOP, for which she was the President in 2012, the Mortgage Loans Association of Alberta, and the Appraisal Institute of Canada. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce, and is an Accredited Appraiser of the Canadian Institute (AACI, P.App).
