Clay Nairn

Biography

Clay joined Strike Group in January 2016 as Vice President, Production Services. Clay has over 25 years of experience in small and mid-size construction delivery within the oil and gas industry. During his tenure in the industry, Clay was responsible for $350 million in annual revenue involving projects varying in size up to $100 million. The scope of the projects Clay has been responsible for include mechanical and electrical facilities construction; pipeline construction; plant and field maintenance and shutdowns; environmental remediation; pipeline integrity programs; heavy hauling; tubular inspection and manufacturing; integrity dig programs; and fluid hauling and specialized cleaning. Clay’s experience in a leadership role focus on the mentorship and development of employees, strategic planning, business growth, and business diversification. Clay has worked in various organizational structures with responsibility and oversight in safety, quality control/assurance, finance, human resources, business development, estimating and controls. Clay is a professional engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. He also has specialized leadership training with Harvard Business School. Clay has been a member in good standing with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) since 1994.
