Glen Bauer

Biography

Glen's career in the oil and gas industry began in 1982 when he joined Denmar Oilfield as a summer student. After receiving his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Glen entered the Superintendent Trainee Program at Flint Engineering and Construction Ltd. (later Flint Canada Inc.), and he remained in the company for 13 years as a Construction Superintendent, District Manager and Area Manager before leaving in 2002 to join Doran Stewart Oilfield Services as an Area Manager. Glen has a diverse knowledge of pipeline and facility construction together with field and plant maintenance, including turn around work. His experience in several work locations has given him the expertise to evaluate, tender and manage major projects in various geographical environments. Glen has managed in excess of 300 people on a wide range of construction projects and turnarounds in both remote and urban centers. His knowledge of pipeline and plant construction together with his passion for his employees has been instrumental to the development of integrity and values that Strike Group believes in maintaining. Glen's strong work ethic and ability to build and maintain relationships with employees, contractors and other stakeholders has made him a respected member of the Strike Group leadership team. His unwavering commitment to safety and project execution is well recognized by clients and management alike. Glen joined the Strike Group team as Western Regional Manager in January, 2011.
