Biography
Mr. Stephan Rajotte served as President of Sun Life Financial Asia (SLF Asia) of Sun Life Financial Inc. since August 2006. Mr. Rajotte had overall responsibility for Sun Life's business operations in Hong Kong, China, Philippines, Indonesia and India. He served as Executive Vice President at Samsung Life Insurance Co., Ltd. from 2010 to 2013 and served as its International Business Division Head. Mr. Rajotte served as Senior Vice-President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific Region of MetLife International. Mr. Rajotte served as a Director of Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Limited. Mr. Rajotte served as a Director of Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. He is a graduate of Université Laval where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science.
