Frank Christiaens

Biography

 Mr. Christiaens is a Partner at CrossPacific Capital Partners, a Director at China Digital Video in Beijing, CLEARink Displays and ELIX Wireless in Vancouver. Mr. Christiaens has 20 years experience operating and managing multinational corporations and startups throughout Asia, South America, and Europe.  From 2002 to 2009, Mr. Christiaens served as the President for Greater China for Barco, a Euronext listed professional display supplier. From 2000 to 2002, he acted as founder, director, COO and then CEO, for data services provider Qala in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia. Mr. Christiaens moved to Asia in 1996 to head up the Internet division for telecommunications equipment provider Alcatel of France. From 1991 until 1995 Mr. Christiaens worked in Europe and South America as a telecommunications project manager. He founded his first startup in Belgium in 1991. Mr. Christiaens holds master's degrees in Electrical / Electronical Engineering, as well as Business Administration, and studied at the University of Leuven Belgium, and at Imperial College in London UK.
