Nanaimo-born Sonja Peteriet moved to Fort McMurray looking for work. She stays for the diverse community and great people, and the future she sees ahead of her in the company’s mining operations. She began with the company as a co-op student and today is a heavy-equipment operator, operating one of the biggest trucks in the world.
