Biography
Dennis began his refining career as a Chemical Process Engineer with Mobil Oil Corporation. Dennis’ assignments have also included engineering positions with increasing levels of responsibility for Frontier Oil, Marathon Ashland Petroleum, Exxon Mobil and currently Valero Energy. Prior to entering the refining industry Dennis worked for The Joint Warfare Analysis Center. He performed engineering analysis of infrastructure networks, conducted research into system and subsystem performance characteristics and assessed impacts of U.S. military actions in various conflict situations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Dennis, a native of Detroit, Michigan, is a father 3 (2 girls, 1 boy) and together with his wife Regina reside in Houston, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University. He is a proud 33rd Degree Prince Hall Mason and member of The Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, American Institute of Chemical Engineers and The National Society of Black Engineers.
