Biography
Mechanical Engineer having held various positions including Maintenance Engineer, Area Maintenance Manager, Area Operations Manager, Upgrading Mechanical Reliability Manager, Upgrading Shift Maintenance Manager and most recently Specialist, Operational Excellence. I have strong organizational skills, having lead an organization with up to 180 people (direct and indirect reports) with record coker mechanical availability, provided technical management of a team of engineers servicing all of Upgrading 1 and managed a team responsible for emergent work, requiring immediate response to extremely diverse situations while still maintaining high standards of work execution with strong safety values and leadership. As Operational Excellence Specialist, I was responsible for coordination of all aspects associated with migrating the site from legacy SAP system to the enterprise-wide SAP platform as part of the Suncor/PetroCanada merger. In my current role, I manage the Reliability Department at the Suncor Edmonton Refinery.
