Josh Abbott

Biography

Josh has been managing product development for 12 years, initially as a product manager at a medical device company before joining Tangent’s management team in 2006.  He is experienced in product development and engineering in the industrial, consumer, and medical device industries and has led numerous projects from initial design through to production.  Josh values close collaboration with customers; always with the mindset to create and execute successful commercialization strategies that achieve both product and business success.  He holds an undergraduate degree from Queen’s University in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of New South Wales.  Outside of work Josh is a car and motorbike enthusiast, despite never owning a vehicle with more than four cylinders or 170 hp.
