Biography
Mr. Rotzinger has been employed with Taseko and predecessor companies for the past 18 years in various capacities. He has been a key participant in the Company’s $700 million capital investment program over the last five years, with his most recent role overseeing the Gibraltar Development Plan 3, a $325 million project. Mr. Rotzinger received the PowerSmart Excellence Awards from BC Hydro in 2008 for Outstanding Energy Efficient Project and again in 2010 for the Application of New Energy Efficient Technology. In 2010, Mr Rotzinger was a co-recipient of the Association of Mineral Exploration British Columbia (AMEBC) E.A. Scholz Award for Excellence in Mine Development for the expansion and modernization of the Gibraltar Mine. In January 2015, he was recognized as Mineral Processor of the Year by the Canadian Mineral Processors (CMP) Group. Mr. Rotzinger is responsible for all major future capital projects undertaken by Taseko including New Prosperity and Aley.
