Biography
Aggie brings to TEC Health Accelerator a unique skill set and a highly strategic perspective to the health innovation space in Alberta. With over 25 years of experience in the private, public and non-profit sectors, she has a proven track record of results in sales, marketing, and in executive leadership roles bridging research, funder, and industry interests to advance the goals of SMEs. Aggie holds a business degree and an MBA from the University of Alberta and has worked in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, market research, food processing, retail, business services and consulting. From sales, account management, and to managerial positions with Boehringer Inghelheim, BioAlberta and AstraZeneca, the last fifteen years have been focused in the innovation sector. More recently, she was the Interim President and the VP of Marketing and Operations at BioAlberta, a Product Pull Specialist at the launch of the Health Accelerator, and remains the Principal of TIPP Consulting which she launched in 2012. Aggie returns to the TEC Edmonton Heath Accelerator after an exciting 14-month contract with Boehringer Ingelheim focused on healthcare quality improvement projects. Aggie is fluent in Polish and has served on a number of boards of not-for-profit organizations.
