Biography
As TEC Edmonton’s Federal Grants Coordinator since 2016, Madeleine writes reports for federal funding agencies that support TEC Edmonton programs, seeks funding opportunities for various programs, and assists in the preparation of applications for new funding opportunities. Before joining TEC Edmonton, Madeleine held quality control positions in oil and gas, and the pharmaceutical industry. She is a Professional Chemist with the Association of the Chemical Profession of Alberta (ACPA). She holds a Masters of Science from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Science from McGill University, both in Chemistry. In her spare time, Madeleine volunteers with a variety of STEM organizations that range from getting kids excited about science for the Alberta Science Network (ASN), to assisting STEM graduate students and early career professionals advance their careers for Women in Science, Engineering and Research (WISER).
