Biography

Mandira joined TEC Edmonton in September 2012 as a technology transfer officer with a focus on managing and commercializing intellectual property in natural sciences and engineering. Mandira is experienced in due diligence intellectual property (IP) assessments, market assessments, marketing, negotiating and establishing contractual agreements as well as grant funding assistance for researchers. Mandira’s key areas of expertise include micro/nano electro-mechanical sensors, oil sands technologies, wireless power transfer, renewable energy and communications technologies. Mandira holds a Master of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering with research experience in the nanotechnology sector. She is a registered member of APEGA.
