Biography
A member of TEC’s Technology Management team, Rebecka has been with the company since 2011. As a Technology Management Officer, Rebecka manages all stages of technology transfer, from determining intellectual property (IP) and protection strategies, coordinating patent filings for early stage technologies, assistance with grant applications, marketing and negotiation the transfer of commercialization rights to industry, spin-off formation as well as primary and secondary market research. Prior to joining TEC, Rebecka spent over 10 years in biotechnology research with several peer-reviewed publications. She received her honours degree in Molecular Genetics in 2001 and a Masters degree in business administration specializing in technology commercialization in 2013. When not at work, Rebecka enjoys camping, hiking, water sports and just about anything outdoors. A member of TEC’s Technology Management team, Rebecka has been with the company since 2011.
