Biography
Edward C. Dowling was appointed to the Board of Teck in September 2012. Mr. Dowling holds a BSc. in Mining Engineering as well as a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mineral Processing, all granted from Pennsylvania State University. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Alacer Gold Corp. from 2008 to July 2012 and is currently the Chairman of Alacer Gold Corp. and a director of the Detour Gold Corporation. Mr. Dowling is a member of the following Board Committees:
