Biography

Mark is a Mining Engineer with 30 years experience across many facets of underground and open pit mining in hard rock. He has worked in Africa, North and South America in both operations and engineering roles. These include: - Mining Technology; identification and implementation of appropriate technologies, - Environment and Reclamation; closure planning, legislation compliance, implementation of ISO14001, - Mine Engineering; project management, feasibility studies, equipment replacement and planning, - Mine Operations; management, production supervision and blasting supervision, Mine to Mill; implementation of M2M at several base metal sites. Specialties: Mining technology, Mine to Mill best practice, equipment replacement & continuous improvement.
