Ellen Hols

Biography

Ellen Hols serves as Telesat’s Vice President, Government Affairs, where she is responsible for strategic management and advocacy on satellite programs and initiatives of interest to the Canadian government. Prior to joining Telesat in 2017, Ellen held a number of senior management positions of increasing responsibility with various departments in the Government of Canada. Most recently she held the positions of Director of Operations, Foreign and Defence Policy at the Privy Council Office, Chief of Staff to the National Security Advisor and Chief of Staff to the Deputy Minister of National Defence. Ellen attended Carleton University in Ottawa and holds degrees in Economics and Political Science.
