Nels Freed

Biography

Nels is a Physicist who has 16 years experience in software development, firmware, and electrical engineering in Arizona. Starting with Testing and Requirements gathering at Molecular Imaging, he began Firmware Engineering by finding and fixing a bug in the Atomic Force Microscope controller firmware. Nels reviewed the hardware, finding and fixing electrical engineering bugs. He added software development to his firmware expertise, and then learned project management skills. Nels remained with the company following its acquisition by Agilent Technologies and became responsible for some AFM hardware before leaving Agilent and Arizona in July 2014, joining Darren Freed in founding Tevosol, Inc. in January 2015.
