Biography
David (Dave) Duffy CIP, holds the position of Claims Manager for the Insurance Company of PEI. Dave has held his CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) designation with the Insurance Institute of Canada since 1994. He claims over 32 years experience as a claims adjuster with past 19 years as Claim Manager. In the earlier years Dave was active member on the board of the local Insurance institute of PEI while teaching several Insurance Institute courses in the afterhours. He has also volunteered with local community policing organizations. Dave is most proud and attributes the success of the claims department, to his staff of 11 dedicated adjuster, who provide superior claims service. He often uses the slogan “The difference is in our service” when describing the ICPEI Claims Department team.
