Biography
Tyler spends most of his time as the Director of Marketing & Communications at the intersection of the Natural Step’s mission, and the needs of our funders and partners. Waging a lifelong crusade against jargon, he translates complex sustainability and social innovation theory into digestible and compelling expressions of value. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Humanities Degree from Carleton University and a Master’s of Science in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Karlskrona, Sweden. In addition to his work with the Natural Step, he has worked in both the public and private sectors. Hailing from the tiny town of Red Rock on the north shore of Lake Superior, Tyler now lives in Toronto and can be spotted at sustainability events and outdoor basketball courts in and around the GTA.
