Biography
Babak Chehroudi completed his dental training at the National University of Iran in 1983. He then started research in the area of cellular interactions with biomaterials under the supervision of Dr. Donald Brunette and Timothy Gould. He obtained his Ph.D. degree at The University of British Columbia in 1991. He is currently working with Dr. Donald Brunette in a project investigating the effects of implant surface topography on mineralization. Another area of research interest is Virtual Reality computer programing for the Dental Anatomy. He is currently teaching Dental Morphology component of DENT 410, DENT 420, DENT-430, and involved in tutoring Problem-Based Learning of combined first year medicine & dentistry. He is also maintaining a part-time private dental practice in North Vancouver.
