Jack Gringlas Oam

Biography

 Jack was born into the family business of CMG in 1951.  Following the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Jack became Managing Director and Owner of CMG in 1984. From  1984  to  2010,  the  CMG  business  grew  to  be  the industry  leader  for  the manufacture and sales of electric motors in Australia and held major market shares in 8 countries around the globe. In  2010  Jack  sold  CMG  Engineering  Group  to  Regal  Beloit  Corporation  (RBC)  and remained on as President of South East Asia Pacific.   In 2011, Jack decided to leave the company to pursue a new career and went on to establish the Jadig Group, a boutique investment and advisory business.   Since 2013, Jack has accepted a number of appointments to private company boards. In particular his role as chairman of the TIC group has enabled him to share his wealth of industry experience and assist with the group’s strategic planning. In January 2014, Jack was awarded an OAM under the Australian Honors scheme.
