Biography
Eric Zakrewski is the President and CEO of True Grit Engineering. Mr. Zakrewski is highly effective, results-oriented and has over 20 years of experience working in diverse and complex regional and political environments. His technical practice consists of managing the permitting and approvals of large, complex waste management, resource and infrastructure development projects across northern Ontario and western Canada. He is an experienced Environmental Assessment (EA) practitioner, having managed large mining Environmental Impact Studies and related EA’s within both the Federal (CEAA) and Provincial Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) frameworks. Mr. Zakrewski is a former Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation Cabinet Member. His key strengths and expertise include: business acumen, strategic planning, financial management, enterprise risk management, corporate governance and leadership management.
