Biography

Since 2010, TY Engineering And Design operates under the leadership of its founder and principal in charge, Tolga Yaprak, P.E. After 6 years of academic experience at the University of Southern California followed by more than 10 years of professional engineering and consulting experience at two major structural engineering firms in Los Angeles, Tolga Yaprak has established TY Engineering And Design to continue serving the construction industry in Southern California. He currently oversees the technical and administrative staff while promoting his expertise in earthquake resistant structural design in Southern California. Tolga's focus has always to been to support collaborative work environment that enables all project team members to deliver the most cost effective and structurally sound solutions to the clients while utilizing innovative methods. His experience includes structural design, seismic design, evaluation and strengthening of existing buildings as well as nonstructural upgrades and renovations of healthcare facilities. Throughout his career, Tolga Yaprak has worked on numerous projects where he has provided value to architects, owners, developers, contractors and other stakeholders by being a reliable and responsive teamwork player with a special attention to details and overall quality of work.
