Biography
Master of Science in Oceanography, University of Quebec at Rimouski (UQAR) - Rimouski, Québec, Canada 2014 - Title of dissertation: The effect of ionic strength and dissolved oxygen content on the aggregation and dissolution of various types of nanoparticles '
Research Interest
Among the nanomaterials, silver nanoparticles (AgNP) are increasingly used. Nanoparticle release of these products during their use or washing introduces AgNP into wastewater, freshwater and seawater. Dissolution of silver nanoparticles (AgNP) is still poorly known in the environment and studies on dissolution generally center in fresh water. This research consists in observing aggregation and dissolution of AgNP with different types of cover, nude, citrate and poly (allyl) amine (PAAm) in different types of water, nanopure water, river water and seawater, and with oxygenation or with a concentration of dissolved oxygen close to the hypoxic level.
