Biography
Anna Taylor is a professor belongs to the department of Pharmacology from the university of Alberta.
Research Interest
My research interests lie within understanding the molecular and circuit level changes that contribute to chronic pain, particularly in the affective and motivational domains. I use a variety of preclinical models, behavioral assessment, and imaging techniques to probe these questions. Current projects include: Examining the impact of gut microbiome on opioid and pain induced negative affect. We are also examining the sex differences in pain and reward using sophisticated genetic models to isolate chromosomal and hormonal contributions
