Research Interest
We are interested in fundamental and translational aspects of insulin secretion and action in metabolic diseases, including obesity and type 2 diabetes, in particular, how nutritional status affects these parameters. In addition, we have a major research interest in improving quality of life for people with type 2 diabetes through development, implementation and evaluation of lifestyle programs focused on nutrition and physical activity (the PANDA project).
