Biography
Dr. Charles Butts is a medical oncologist at the Cross Cancer Institute and Associate Professor of Oncology at University of Alberta. His clinical practice and research interests focus on Thoracic Oncology. He is Past President of the Canadian Association of Medical Oncologists, a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee on Oncology Therapeutics for Health Canada, a member of the Education Committee for Lung Cancer Track for the American Society of Clinical Oncologists and a member of the Communication Committee for the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer. He is currently the Acting Medical Director for the Associate Cancer Centers and Community Oncology for Alberta Health Services Cancer Care.
