Biography
Dr. Zeng received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Polymer Materials & Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from University of California, Santa Barbara. Dr. Zeng’s research interests are in various areas of surface and colloid science, nanotechnology, with a special focus on the intermolecular and surface interactions (adhesion, friction, lubrication, etc.) in polymer materials, complex fluids, biological systems, petroleum, oil sands and minerals, and development of advanced functional materials with novel engineering, environmental and biomedical applications.

Research Areas: colloid and interface science, nanotechnology, intermolecular and surface forces in polymer materials, complex fluids, biological systems, petroleum, oil sands and minerals, development of advanced functional materials with novel engineering and biomedical applications.
