Research Interest
Dr. Rysgaard studies marine microbiology and biogeochemistry, pertaining to the structure and function of Arctic marine ecosystems. This includes benthic-pelagic coupling, carbon and nutrient cycling in Arctic waters, sea ice processes, glacier-fjord-ocean interactions, and global change.
